Dutch Kills CSA offers FRESH and DRIED organic heirloom cranberries from Fresh Meadows Farm in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Every year in mid-November we distribute cranberries and pecans + turkeys (and cheeses, etc.) that you can order from Pleasant Valley Farm.

If you visit the Fresh Meadows Farm website you can learn about the Cape Verde farmers who were forced to emigrate from their native islands in the 1900s by prolonged drought. Many of them settled in southeastern Massachusetts, just when the commercial cranberry business was looking for migrant farm labor. Our farmer, Dom Fernandes, is a fifth-generation Cape Verdean cranberry farmer.
