Dutch Kills CSA offers a Regular full-size, half-price Equity Vegetable Share for $350 to members who cannot afford to pay full price. This year for the first time, we are also offering a Veggie Half-Share on alternating weeks. The Half Share is a full-size, regular veggie box that you pick up on alternating weeks. If you get the Half-Share Week A option, you will pick up your box on the odd-numbered weeks, starting with Week 1 on June 10. Week B shares get picked up on the even numbered weeks, starting with Week 2 on June 17. (If you sign up for a Week A share, you cannot switch to Week B while you are on vacation: it is an either-or choice. No substitutions.)
Our 2025 season runs for 24 weeks, which means the cost of a regular equity share is $14.58 a week. Equity members are also required to purchase an equity membership for $10.
Our CSA covers half the cost of every equity share, which is why we can afford to fund only 20 equity shares. Please apply early! There are no subsidies for Family Veggie Shares or Fruit Shares or extras such as mushrooms.
Equity members have the same responsibilities as other members of Dutch Kills CSA, including paying an annual membership fee and working three volunteer shifts.
Registration opens April 1; deadline to apply is June 1.

IF YOU WANT TO SPLIT A WEEKLY VEGGIE SHARE
If you want to get a veggie box every week but you want to split your equity share with a share partner, you have two options: (1) If both of you qualify for the equity price, then each of you needs to submit an application. (2) If you qualify but your share partner’s income exceeds our guidelines, then you would pay half of the equity price (i.e., $175) + $5 (which is half the cost of an equity membership), and your partner would pay half the cost of a full-price share (i.e., $375) + $17.50 (which is half the cost of a full-priced membership ). We will send separate bills to you and your share partner after you complete your registration. If you need help to afford a vegetable share, please complete the application below. If your income exceeds our guidelines, but you have extenuating circumstances, please write to us at info@dutchkillscsa.com. We will let you know within 10 days if your application has been approved.
PAYMENT: The equity share price does not include any processing fees, and so we ask that you pay for your equity share by check. You can pay in full when you register, or you can arrange a payment plan with half ($185) due when you register ($175 + $10 membership fee = $185), and half ($175) due by August 1. Include both checks ($185 + $175) in the same envelope—one with the current date and one dated August 1. Write all checks payable to DUTCH KILLS CSA.
